Thérèse is the house mother and is the main reason why it feels like home. Having made a career in education as a school teacher, Thérèse changed the way many children in Hammana and its surrounding areas see the world. She then spent many years in the United States before coming back to her home village and getting involved in its development, by reopening one of the old souk’s restaurants. Today, she extends her hospitality, generosity, and immense love to all the house’s residents and visitors.
